About the show

What did rejection make you do?

Curated by Patty Eljaiek in collaboration with Kasher Gallery & Studios, REJECTED explores rejection as a universal creative experience, not as an ending, but as a point of transformation.
The exhibition asks what happens after the “no”: the declined submission, the closed door, the missed opportunity, the opaque selection process, the moment that made you question your worth or made you begin again.

Through visual art, conversation, workshops, and community programming, REJECTED looks at how artists transform rejection into movement, clarity, persistence, and collective power.

Not every rejection stings the same. Some stop us. Some redirect us. Some light a fire.

An intimate creative space, curated for artists and audiences, steps from the Northport Village harbor.
